N.J. Democrats introduce bill granting birth control to Haitian migrants “at no cost”

Serious policy? Trolling Trump?

Both?

I don’t think they know the difference anymore in a deeply-corrupted Trenton under the thumb of one radicalized party. So as the debate over an influx of Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio continues this week, Save Jerseyans, Democrats in New Jersey are once again virtue-signaling (and attempting to undermine President Trump) with your money. They never miss an opportunity.

S3556/A4499, introduced in the Senate by Senator Renee C. Burgess (D-28) two days after the Philadelphia presidential debate, would expend New Jersey tax dollars to provide “health services” – including contraceptives – for Haitian migrants.

“Under the bill, the Department of Health (department), in collaboration with community health clinics and migrant support organizations, is to ensure that all Haitian migrants have access to reproductive contraceptives at no cost,” the legislation’s official statement explains. “Contraceptive options for Haitian migrants are to include, but are not to be limited to, intrauterine devices, birth control pills, and Depo-Provera injections.  Services for Haitian migrants are to include comprehensive reproductive health education and counseling to ensure informed decision-making.”

“The department is to develop detailed guidelines for the implementation of the provisions of this bill, including eligibility criteria, application procedures, and logistics of contraceptive distribution within 120 days following the bill’s effective date,” the explanatory statement continues.

New Jersey’s Haitian population as of the 2020 census was approximately 71,670.
