Ciattarelli enters the next five months with a huge primary money edge

Money isn’t everything, Save Jerseyans, but it’s often worth quite a bit… especially in the expensive world of political paid media combat in a state without a unified media market. At the moment, Jack Ciattarelli is entering the next and final five months of the NJGOP gubernatorial primary with the biggest warchest of the main set of candidates.

The 2021 nominee has raised a whopping $2.9 million as of the end of 2024’s final quarter; that objectively strong number qualifies him for the full matching fund payout via the state program, and he’ll have $8.7 million in cash to spend for the 2025 primary cycle.

That $8.7 million is exclusive of whatever ends up coming into play through Kitchen Table Conservatives, a pro-Ciattarelli super pac.

Meanwhile, Jack Ciattarelli’s main rival for the nomination – NJ 101.5 radio host Bill Spadea – has taken in $1.1 million and (for now) will have $2.9 million when all is said and done.

Spadea’s fundraising is running behind that of State Senator Jon Bramnick who looks to hit $4.2 million.

Ed “The Trucker” Durr has yet to disclose his fundraising status.

All four men will meet for the first 2025 Republican gubernatorial debate on February 4th; the debate at Rider University will be co-sponsored by New Jersey Globe and SaveJersey.com.
