It must be hard to maintain consistency when you have no core…?
That’s the apparent dilemma facing East Coast Kamala (Mikie Sherrill) and his supporters this cycle, Save Jerseyans. She’s a serial liar, and not a particularly good one.
On June 26th, one month ago this weekend, Sherrill did a network interview and made it pretty darn clear that she would back Zohran Mamdani if he was the NYC Democrat mayoral nominee (which he clearly was at the time she said it). Since then, some polling has shown Mamdani is facing a potentially challenging race as a continual drip of radical statements (e.g. opposition to private property) come to light.
Sherrill is trying to pivot. Less than a month later, on July 25th, Sherrill interviewed with another program and backpedaled so fast that the Congresswoman is lucky she didn’t trip over her own feet:

Sherrill’s flip-flop is ugly. Republicans and Unaffiliated voters will see what there is… a liar. Some Democrats won’t be happy that Sherrill refuses to commit to their favorite communist anti-Semite of the moment.
But it’s worth than all of that. It’s becoming crystal clear that Mikie Sherrill is, as I said, a serial liar. Telling the truth doesn’t come naturally to her. In fact, she compulsively lies about things both large and small.
She lied about her grandfather’s war record. She lied to Charlemagne tha God about her suspicious stock trades while in office. She’s even lying about your electric bills! That first lie is arguably the most inexplicable because… why? What did she gain? Which leads a rationale person to conclude that East Coast Kamala can’t help herself.
Does this sound like someone who’s a good candidate to serve as our next governor, New Jersey?
