The great turnout war continues, Save Jerseyans, and thus far, Republicans are holding their own at the state’s designated early in person voting locations. Here’s where things stood for the first three days of early in person when the polls closed at 8PM on Monday night:

Republican: 94,555

Democrat: 98,796

D Lead: 4,241 (+1.77%)

We’ll have a read on how Tuesday went later today.

Significantly, Republicans won Day #3 by approximately 1,200 votes. Republicans likely don’t need to win the in-person vote, but for what it’s worth, the current partisan edge is well below where it was at the end of early in person in 2021 (Murphy 12.2%).

VBMs tell a similar story. Murphy ended early voting with an almost 48% pluarlity in 2021. As of now, the Democrats’ advantage is around 42%.

Here’s the bottom line: if Jack really does win the Election Day vote by a double digit margin like he did in 2021 (+12) and some polling suggest (Quantus +21)? He’s got good odds.
