The stars may be aligning here…
A new Neighborhood Research poll dropped at the end of last week, Save Jerseyans, and it shows Jack Ciattarelli and Mikie Sherrill tied, 44% a piece. We now have a multiple surveys (including our own) reporting a de facto tie ballgame in the race to succeed Phil Murphy as governor of New Jersey.
Significantly? Ciattarelli leads 46% to 42% among those who definitely voting this cycle. He’s also ahead 49% to 30% among unaffiliated Garden State voters.
Those are good numbers for Ciattarelli and suggest he’s poised to win IF Republicans return their ballots and show up to vote in force for early in-person voting which begins on October 25th.
Rick Shaftan retweeted the highlights from his polling memo over on X:
