TRENTON, N.J. – Could New Jersey be the next state to scrap and redo its congressional map?
“We have some constitutional limitations on doing it immediately,” Governor Mikie Sherrill told CNN’s Caitlin Collins on Thursday night. “We’d have to get some votes through, but I’d certainly be willing to work with the legislature to do that.”
Collins followed up by asking if the Democrat governor would push for a new map.
“Depending on how these maps go, certainly,” Sherrill added.
