REPORT: More Noncitizens Found on N.J. Voter Rolls, And Some Apparently Cast Ballots

TRENTON, NJ – Democrats and their allies in the media have spent years insisting voter fraud concerns are little more than a conspiracy theory. A new Fox News Digital report suggests New Jersey voters have good reason to remain skeptical.

Documents obtained by the New Jersey Republican Party (NJGOP) and the Republican National Committee (RNC) through public records requests revealed multiple noncitizens on New Jersey’s voter rolls after seeking naturalization. In many cases, the individuals themselves reportedly asked New Jersey officials to delete their names from the state’s voter registration database after realizing they were registered.

Even more troubling? Fox News reports that some of those noncitizens apparently voted in past elections.

Records reviewed by the outlet showed that while most individuals had no voting history, at least a handful had cast ballots in elections dating back to 2000. One individual reportedly voted multiple times between 2000 and 2008, while another participated in both municipal and primary elections.

The documents indicate that many of the affected individuals claimed they had no idea how they became registered voters. Several reportedly suggested the registration occurred through New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle Commission.

In Atlantic County alone, Fox News reviewed more than 50 cases involving noncitizens who later sought removal from the voter rolls.

RNC Chairman Joe Gruters argued that the documented cases point to a larger problem beneath the surface, noting that these are only the individuals who came forward on their own. Republicans have been conducting voter-roll reviews nationwide as part of an ongoing election integrity effort.

Predictably, state officials are downplaying the issue. A New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) spokesperson told Fox News that safeguards are in place to ensure only eligible citizens register and characterized such cases as “exceedingly rare.”

“Rare” (however they’re defining it) isn’t the same thing as “never happens”—a distinction that’s often lost when critics raise legitimate concerns about election security. Just last month, four non-citizens were charged with voting illegally in New Jersey.

New Jersey voters deserve confidence that every *legal* vote -and only legal votes – are counted in Garden State elections. Reports showing noncitizens on the voter rolls—and in some cases participating in elections—raise serious questions that demand answers, not dismissive talking points.

At a minimum, the revelations underscore why regular voter-roll maintenance and rigorous verification procedures remain essential to preserving public trust in the electoral process.
