Governor Chris Christie returned to Sandy-flooded Sayreville on Thursday to field residents questions, concerns, and even one survivor’s words of gratitude:

Notably absent? John Wisniewski, chairman of the Bridgegate SCI who hails from (and represents) Sayreville.
The Governor’s office did invite him to attend the town hall. Given everything that his town went through following Sandy, Save Jerseyans, you’d think the Wiz would be a little more proactive about seizing opportunities to question the Governor? And demand answers on behalf of his constituents?
It’s not just the right thing to do; it’s not bad politics, either, unless of course your primary goal is winning a Democrat gubernatorial primary.
In that case, being perceived as the Democrat most responsible for holding the Republican Governor’s feet to the fire is objective #1.
Different priorities indeed. The Wiz’s committee is slated to meet again next Tuesday to consider fresh subpoenas directed at Governor Christie’s attorneys.
I don’t know what to tell you, Sayreville. Learn how to swim and start planting money trees or vote for a new assemblyman next fall. Adjust your priorities to reflect the incumbent’s…
They’ll learn to swim and look for money tree seeds first. Because, y’know, Republicans wage a war on women, want to ban contraception, and attend KKK meetings.
I have been surfing on-line greater than three hours nowadays, yet I never
found any interesting article like yours. It’s lovely price
sufficient for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made good content material
as you did, the net will likely be much more useful than ever before.
I’m not sure exactly why but this blog is loading extremely slow for me.
Is anyone else having this problem or is it a problem on my end?
I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
