The probable front runner to win the Atlantic County line (Hirsh Singh) was nominated by former A.C. Mayor Don Guardian from the floor; the nomination was seconded by the Mayor of Galloway.
During the candidates’ 5-minute speeches, Somers Point Councilman Jim Toto served up a surprise by suspending his campaign and endorsing Singh.
Attorney John Zarych, too, but did not endorse.
