New polling suggests Trump may be *more* popular amid Epstein fallout

Don’t misunderstand me, Save Jerseyans: X was huge for the America First movement in 2024. Elon Musk took a risk when he purchased the platform, but the end result was an revitalized and invaluable tool for disrupting the Left’s media monopoly-driven narratives.

It’s still important to remember that X is only a facet of reality. It is not a mirror reflection of the American electorate any more than MSNBC or Fox News, respectively, represent the views of all or even a majority of Americans. Consider a close to home example: if you went solely by the volume of posts and online polls on the X platform this spring, you would’ve concluded that former radio host Bill Spadea was on track to win a decisive upset victory over Jack Ciattarelli for the 2025 GOP gubernatorial nomination. What we got on Primary Day was a Ciattarelli… landslide.

Here’s another newer bit of evidence pointing to X’s limited utility as a public opinion barometer:

The latest polling from CNN and Quinnipiac – hardly Trump-friendly pollsers – shows that the President has actually seen his popularity RISE in the aftermath of a social media/cable news meltdown over the release of the so-called “Epstein List.”

CNN’s Harry Enten broke down the results for his network’s audience:

Meanwhile, for those (myself included) who are distrustful of polling outfits with mixed records, the usually reliable Rasmussen Reports saw Trump’s support with black and GOP voters rise by 2-points in the latest batch of data though his approval among independents remains down in Rasmussen’s data from before the storyline began.

So is the Epstein hullabaloo really just a tempest in a digital teapot?

Time is always the ultimate judge of such things, but a little bit of perspective is always helpful when passions are high and the stakes are even higher.
