UPDATE: Former Christie aide pleads guilty to endangering the welfare of a child

Former Chris Christie aide Kevin Tomafsky plead guilty to first degree endangering the welfare of a child on Monday. The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office annouced that the plea deal includes a 10-year prison sentence, half of which must be served before Tomafsky is eligible for parole.

Tomasky was arrested back in December 2022 after images of “child sexual abuse and exploitation” where discovered on his devices.

A veteran South Jersey political operative, Tomasky served in the then-governor’s scheduling office between 2010 to 2012.

The sentencing hearing is scheduled for September 12th.
