Republicans continued to chip away at Democrats’ statewide voter registation edge in September 2025.
With one month to go before Election Day, Republicans picked up another 2,385 registrants statewide over the last 30 days while Democrats shed 4,362. The The Democrat statewide advantage is now 855,049.
On Election Day 2021, it was D+ 1,070,292. Jack Ciattarelli lost that election to Phil Murphy by about 3-points.
Meanwhile, unaffiliated voters jumped by 13,276. Most polling has shown Jack Ciattarelli leading Mikie Sherrill among independents; Quantus Insights’s new survey found a Jack +13 edge while the Save Jersey Poll showed it at 6-points.
