The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is hitting 2026 battleground districts with paid digital advertising in the wake of a new government shutdown, and two New Jersey House districts are on the list.
“While Democrats shut down our government to bankroll handouts for illegal immigrants and appease their radical base, Tom Kean, Jr. and Republicans are focused on keeping the government working for New Jerseyans. The contrast couldn’t be clearer, and New Jerseyans know they have a fighter with Tom Kean,” explained NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole regarding the NJ-07 ad.
The same spot is also running in nearby NJ-09 where Democrat freshman incumbent Nelli Pou is believed to be in electoral jeopardy after President Trump carried her North Jersey district by a single point last November.
