The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the official campaign arm of the House GOP, continues to hammer Democrat freshman Nellie Pou (D, NJ-09) ahead of next year’s midterms, Save Jerseyans.
A paid digital spot is currently up and running online targeting Pou; while the spot, titled “Democrats’ Dereliction of Duty” does not name Pou specifically, it’s the latest sign that national Republicans are hoping this North Jersey district (which landed at Trump +1 in 2024) will be a pickup opportunity in 2026.
“Out of touch Democrat Nellie Pou and the Democrat Party pulled a partisan stunt to appease their radical base while throwing our brave men and women in uniform under the bus. Voters won’t forgive this betrayal,” explained NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole.
