Polls are now open across New Jersey

Polls are now open across the great Garden State, Save Jerseyans, as residents decide whether Republican businessman Jack Ciattarelli or Democrat Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill will succeed Phil Murphy as the next governor. The entire State Assembly as well as numerous county and local offices are also on the ballot.

Hundreds of thousands of New Jerseyans cast ballots early this year, either by mail-in ballot or at an in-person early voting location. Turnout may exceed three million.

The gubernatorial contest is expected to be close and continues to fetch significant national attention. If it is close, Republicans hope Jack Ciattarelli evidences 2021-style coattails and pulls a few (or several) new legislators across he finish line. Democrats, for their part, are pinning their hopes on an early vote “firewall” to hold off an expected Republican win on Election Day.

Polling stations are open today from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. If you are in line by the 8pm closing time? Do not leave until you vote.
