The deadline for new registrants to vote in Election 2025 was October 14th, Save Jerseyans, but Republicans continued their now years-long trend of chipping away at the Democrats’ statewide voter registration edge throughout last month.
Republicans added 3,100 new voters to the Democrats’ 1,515, a new GOP gain of 1,585 which brings the Dem cumulative lead across all 21 counties down to 853,464.
That’s a significantly smaller edge than the 1,070,292 advantage Democrats enjoyed in November 2021 when Jack Ciattarelli lost to Phil Murphy by only 2.8-points or roughly 84,000 votes.
