Okay; so you’re a Democrat with a galloping case of TDS or, perhaps, you genuinely disagree with the decision to go to war with Iran and don’t want to support intervention.
How difficult is it to support a resolution “reaffirming Iran remains the largest state sponsor of terrorism”?
You’ll need to ask the 53 Democrats (!) who refused to support House Res. 1099 on Thursday, Save Jerseyans. The roll call was 372-53, and three New Jersey Dems were among those siding with Iran.
Who?
Rob Menendez (NJ-08), son of convicted felon Bob Menendez. Let’s face it: it’s hard to win over the Menendez family unless you’re willing to fork over some gold bars! Interestingly, the former U.S. Senator famously clashed with Barack Obama over the hugely controversial Iran Deal and accused Obama of targeting him with lawfare over his opposition.
LaMonica McIver (NJ-10), the human garbage bag currently facing federal charges for allegedly assaulting law enforcement outside of a Newark ICE detention facility.
Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12), a retiring congresswoman and bitter partisan whose defining career accomplishment was raising two sons who were sentenced for armed robbery at a Kids R Us store back in 2001.
On the subject of Iran?
Always consider the source. Especially among the Garden State caucus.
