Freeholder Larry Wallace (R-Gloucester) is a good friend of this website and a semi-regular Save Jersey contributor. He’s also one of the toughest conservative and inspiring Republican voices in South Jersey.
That’s why we were particularly concerned to learn that someone (as of yet unidentified) actually BLEW UP his mailbox approximately 5:30 a.m. this morning.
The Woolwich PD are investigating, and I’m also wondering if there could be federal criminal charges stemming from this incident given that the target was a mailbox? We’ll hopefully learn more in the coming days.
I reached Larry earlier this afternoon to see how he was doing; as always, the Freeholder was upbeat and resolute. “I sure hope this isn’t political, because I’d hate to see politics stoop to yet another new low; but rest assured that I’m definitely not going to let this intimidate me.”
We know it won’t, and the entire Save Jersey family hopes that the individual(s) responsible will be caught and prosecuted in short order!
Horrible! Prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law!
