OPINION: What would Rand Paul say if he knew what Christie knows?
By Art Gallagher | MoreMonmouthMusings.com
Much is being made in the political media today about the “harsh assessment of libertarianism” and its most popular current spokesman, Senator Rand Paul, that Governor Chris Christie delivered in his remarks during the Aspen Institute forum with fellow Republican governors Bobby Jindal, Mike Pence, and Scott Walker last night.
Politico published an edited clip of Christie’s comment on “esoteric, intellectual” libertarianism that made it sound as if the Aspen forum was the kick-off of the 2016 Republican presidential primary between Paul and Christie…
Rand is right, Chris is wrong.
first of all until last year, Obama did not attend his daily National Security meeting

Anyone who invokes the widows and orphans of 9/11 for their own personal, political gain makes me sick and loses me forever! Anyone who supports Christie´s heartless rant gets the same "support" from me. I´m done with the morons in this state!
then we have Fort Hood and the self proclaimed shooter, then we have Times Square and underwear, and given to them on a silver platter, the Boston bombers, NOw they want our passwords. What is that about? To set up some individuals? We know they like to target their political opponents(IRS) or is that phoney

with that going on, how can we the people win, it is about money, not secrity

How is Rand ignorant?
The widows and the orphans are libertarians too Chris.
Keep the convo going, folks. This issue is dividing conservatives like few others and it needs to be resolved; we´re glad to host the debate here at The Save Jersey Blog.
it has been a long time since the Republican Party REALLY stood for something. This is not the party of Reagan. They like to think so but they are not.
I stand with Rand over rhino Christie
Would have been nice if Rand chose to make this a debate. Instead he fired a few cheap shots at a strong conservative Governor who is creating a road map for our party. The politicians like Rand need to remember that they probably agree with Gov Christie on 90% of the issues!
I would venture to say Christie made the opening salvo in the cheap shot game with his comments at the Aspen Institute, I don´t remember Rand calling anyone dangerous. Christie is loosing his luster nationwide as he lets the Sweeny gun bills linger and goes after other GOP´ers.
Ran us the man
Lets all see about ignorant bliss if Christie fails to veto those stupid and unconstitutional gun laws on his desk
