Obama Ties Bush in New Poll. Democrats Everywhere Cry.

In the most recent CNN/Opinion Research Poll, one that I am sure the editors for CNN.com could not stand reporting on, President George W. Bush is statistically tied with President Obama for the hearts and minds of the American people.

The poll asked whether President Obama is a better President than George W. Bush was. The answers came down to 47% saying yes, and 45% saying no.

The poll wasn’t all bad for Democrats though. President Obama still beat public speculation about whether John McCain would have done a better job, but only 50% to 42%. So basically, the American people are pretty sure that President Obama would beat out a fictional President that never took office, but aren’t so sure that he’s any better than the last President, who was probably the least popular leader since Jimmy Carter.
