Obama Caught Off-Guard in Cairo But Prepared to “Change” Wisconsin

The Obama Administration’s incompetent and disjointed response to the revolution in Egypt was extremely disconcerting, Save Jersey. How can a superpower’s diplomatic corp become so utterly and completely tone-deaf to “the street” and maintain its prestige? And even more importantly, why should our allies continue to follow America if our leaders behave unpredictably when confronted with uncertainty? Ask Israel, Poland, or the vacationing ex-President Mubarak whether the U.S. under President Obama’s leadership can be trusted to abide by its agreements.

Yet notwithstanding a growing list of fopo disasters overseas, President Obama certainly wasn’t caught off guard this past week in Wisconsin, was he?

The Democratic Administration’s political stormtroopers promptly organized thousands of union goons, shuttered schoolhouses for a week, flew in Jessie Jackson, and enticed/turned a blind eye to “doctors” (?) indiscriminately handing out fraudulent medical excuse notes to healthy looking teachers, all aimed towards combating the serious reform efforts of that state’s new Republican governor and legislature:

All of this… just to prevent unionized teachers from paying a fair market price for taxpayer-financed health benefits???

Yes, it’s shocking. Here in New Jersey, of course, we’ve heard the same selfish ridiculousness from the state teachers’ union reps since Governor Christie took Trenton by storm in January 2010. We’re used to it.

But what is even more shocking is how this President persists in pursuing his twisted priorities! The White House fiddles while the remaining Arab states not under the control of radical Islamicists are engulfed in flames. And God forbid he speak out in favor of the pro-democracy protests in Iran! He’d much rather focus his energies on “transforming” our country’s domestic political landscape by directly interfering in Wisconsin’s democratic process.

It’s inappropriate. It’s obscene. It’s offensive to taxpayers in Madison and every other town across America. It’s the Obama Administration: ready to wrestle taxpayers and democratically-elected state governments to the mat here at home, but always willing to roll-over for the Muslim Brotherhood or any other organization dedicated to undermining U.S. interests abroad.

  1. Wow Brian…didn't know you were privy to all that sensitive information of how the administration handled the Egypt situation.

Fact is, you have no idea what went on behind the scenes. And, the desired result of ousting Mubarek was the outcome.

As to Wisconsin, its not that they don't want the workers to pay their share, they just don't want them to give up their hard fought rights of collective bargaining. But hey, any union is the devil…right?

Republicans are trying to destroy this country piece by piece. I think the next election will show that the people of the United States don't like it when the gov't tries to ram other peoples bad ideas down their throats…hey, isn't that what you've been saying all along? Oh, yeah…sorry, I forgot that this site is just one big hypocrital postition after another…. Silly me.
