My Camden County GOP recently elected a new chairman, Tom Booth, who looks to inherit a significantly different legislative landscape heading into the 2011 cycle. And possible a 3-for-1 legislative switcheroo?
The downside is threefold: Donald Norcross’s Camden City-centric LD-5 is as blue as ever, LD-6 remains firmly in Democrat hands with the addition of 5-to-1 Democratic Pennsauken Township, and freshman GOP Assemblyman Domenick DiCicco has been redrawn into Steve Sweeney’s LD-3. Yikes! The upside here is that the all-Republican represented LD-8 now covers a few towns in Camden County: Pine Valley, Berlin Borough and Waterford.
Senator Addegio and Assemblymen Rudder and Delany will be welcome new members of the Camden County Republican family. Now if Assemblyman DiCicco decides to stay, fight and win in LD-4, Camden County could have four Republican legislators for the fist time since… a long time ago!
Welcome to Camden…. it will help keep us honest.
of course now Burlington is now represented by three more democrats. Blame it on Maple Shade:)
Get rid of Norcross and his thugs. New Leadership needed in NJ
