I truly loathe these early presidential debates, Save Jerseyans, because there are too many candidates participating to have a substantive discussion. The only person more frustrated than the candidates (and the bloggers) is the moderator!
Adding to a subtle sense of futility is the glaring absence of two giant personalities – Rick Perry and Sarah Palin – either of whom could instantly monopolize the Tea Party’s backing and turn the race’s dynamic on its head.
