Contessa Brewer, the same liberal worker bee at MSNBC who attempted take a story about an African American man bringing a gun to an Obama event into a racial issue (seriously.) and who recently claimed that Rupert Murdoch getting hit with a pie during a Parliamentary hearing embodied the feelings of all Britons, looked stupid yet again.
This time she attempted to play “gotcha” with a Republican Congressman by asking if he had a degree in economics, suggesting that he had no idea what he was talking about when it came to the economy. Congressman Brooks responded with a polite and calm “yes.” The split second where Brewer takes pause is priceless.

So far it seems that no one has thought to ask Contessa whether she has a degree in economics. Or anything useful. While Congressman Brooks earned Economics and Political Science degrees from Duke and graduated in just three years, Contessa got hers in broadcast journalism without ever learning how to conduct an interview.
