Congressman Scott Garrett (R-NJ) raised an impressive 450,000 in Q2 boosting his cash on hand to 1.4 million. Garrett will be likely in a slightly more competitive district after congressional redistricting and will require a stable war chest to compete during a competitive cycle.
Mike Inganamort, Garrett’s Political Director, noted the conservative support that Garrett receives in his district saying “New Jerseyans support Congressman Garrett’s efforts to rein in government through less spending and lower taxes.”
