Thousandaires for Christie! NJGOP Cleans Up in Q2

The NJGOP had a great fundraising haul in the second quarter this year. In fact, it was the best second quarter they have had in recent memory. The state party took in over $1 million in the last three months, and those were not all from “millionaires” as the NJEA and Democrats would like you to believe. Instead, over 80 percent of the contributions made were under $100, coming from normal people in New Jersey’s middle class.

While the special interests continue trying to paint the Governor as a big meanie and someone only out for the richest of the rich, the taxpayers of New Jersey clearly know better. They have found a leader who has their financial interests truly at heart, and who refuses to saddle their children with the problems of today. Do millionaires probably support the Governor? Yeah of course! He is making sure that they don’t get a tax increase just like everyone else! But the rest of us, the thousandaires out there, are clearly turning out en masse to try and give Christie a friend in the legislature this year.

If the NJGOP continues to pull in fundraising numbers like this, and the Democrat bosses have to continue to spread their money around as new regions become more competitive, we could realistically see some change in Trenton in 2011.

If you weren’t one of the thousands of “average” New Jerseyan’s who donated to the NJGOP in the second quarter, make a contribution now and boost their third quarter numbers!
