Two discernible “drum beats” this week echoing throughout our political universe, Save Jerseyans.
The first comes from Republicans clamoring for someone else – notably Governor Christie – to get in the GOP primary race.
The second originates from desperate Democrats insisting that the ONLY path to fiscal stability is to cannibalize the only remaining citizens who aren’t already in the breadline.

Calls for “President” Christopher J. Christie Continue from Conservative Activists, GOP Money Men Across the Country
- His numbers are moving up here at home and Karl Rove says he’s as good as in, but our Matt DeLuca sets forth eight compelling reasons why Governor Christie won’t run in 2012.
- One possible obstacle? He doesn’t deserve the blame yet New Jersey’s credit downgrade would make good fodder for a Dem attack ad.
- His revenue projections were dead on and his property cap tax is starting to control expenses; tolls are a different story! North Jerseyans are upset regardless of party affiliation.
- Is the Texas card a strong Democrat weapon against Rick Perry?
- Ed Sheppard thinks Bachmann’s Ames Victory was actually the beginning of the end for her primary campaign.
- LD-8’s Carl Lewis threw a hissy fit and compared our lovely Lt. Guv to NIXON. We don’t see the resemblance. Tom Moran does.
- The Star-Ledger also accused the man who brought down pervert Norcross Democrat Lou Magazzu of being a bully/assassin. Huh?!
- Drink up! Ian Mac reports that the Legislature will consider a bill that would benefit microbrews.
- James Beattie continues to chronicle more immature CWA/IBEW union games and delay tactics as the Verizon labor debacle drags on into a new week.
- Christie Republicans can pick up FOUR seats this November in New Jersey’s two southernmost leg districts: LD-1 (Cape May and Cumberland) & LD-2 (Atlantic). Find out how YOU can help!
- The Democrats clearly feel the heat: Whelan (D-NJ2) is spending a TON on opp research and Van Drew (D-LD1) is ducking debates!
