This past weekend I traveled from my home in Camden County to the overcrowded hotbed of the election season: Bergen County. My intention was to simply head up to Paramus, interview State Senate Candidate John Driscoll, and then head to Hoboken to meet some friends and enjoy the rest of my weekend. However, when I saw all of the great work that was being done in Bergen I could not help but spend the whole day talking to volunteers, operatives, and candidates to bring our Save Jerseyans the best coverage we could. Plus the traffic was really terrible so I thought it best to remain where I was.
So in the two days I spent in Bergen County James Beattie and I conducted five interviews, including all three candidates from the insanely competitive 38th district, Don Diorio from the 36th district, and Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean Jr., who I happened to run into unexpectedly in Hackensack.
Instead of dumping all of them on you at one time, we are going to spread it throughout the week. Be sure to check back every morning at 11:00AM for a new video highlighting the issues in the great northeast.
Today’s interview features Mayor Rich Goldberg, candidate for Assembly in the 38th district. In my opinion, if the GOP cannot pick up seats in LD38, they cannot pick them up anywhere. The 38th is the race to watch in north Jersey this year.
