After the procedural vote was done, I stuck around to listen to the Democrats whine and the Republicans remind everyone that John Farmer said their map was great. Here are some notable soundbites from the head honcho’s of both sides of the redistricting commission.
You’ll notice a lot of attention being paid to the now GOP safe zone that is the 3rd Congressional District. While the Democrats are terribly disappointed in what happened to NJ3, Robert’s seems quite offended at the idea that they rolled over for the GOP on the issue.
