Chris Christie may not be getting much of what he wants lately from the State Legislature, Save Jerseyans, but his constituents certainly don’t seem to mind.
Not at all.
The Rutgers-Eagleton Center for Public Interest surveyed 1,191 adults between May 31 to June 4. With an error margin of 2.9%, its pollsters discovered 50% of New Jersey registered voters hold a favorable opinion of Christie. That’s a full 4-point bump from their last statewide survey in March and his best rating in the Eagleton poll since taking office. Less than 40% viewed him unfavorably while 11% (unbelievable!) were without an opinion.
How ANYONE hasn’t formed an opinion on this man is beyond me…
Virtually every public poll over the past year has placed Christie well into positive territory. One May 2012 Q-Poll pegged Governor Christie’s approval rating at 57%.
