The Land of Hope and Opportunity*

Are you recovered from the 2012 Democrat National Convention yet, Save Jerseyans?

It may take you awhile and that would be totally understandable; the Charlotte experience was traumatic for all involved. We saw delegates proudly wearing “sluts vote” pins (among other ill-conceived and inappropriate swag), looked on as the inspiration for those “sluts vote” pins begged for free birth control in front of millions of viewers, saw the former of Governor of Michigan lose her mind (Dean-style), heard one older delegate threaten Mitt Romney during an video-tapped interview, watched speech-after-speech designed to instigate class and gender warfare, absorbed lie after lie about the true condition of our country’s economy, watched an incumbent president deliver a challenger’s speech AND, last but definitely not least, watched at least half of the DNC convention hall — President Obama’s core supporters — deny God…. three times. Spooky, right?

It was a disaster of biblical proportions! And the examples listed above are just a “highlight reel” of sorts.

Amidst all of the far-left demagoguery on the issues of abortion and immigration, one regular Save Jersey reader logged a simple but profound observation exposing the overtly-political way by which ideological liberals assign rights…

How come illegal immigrant children who came here through no fault of their own get a college education but babies who came here through no fault of their own get aborted?

Good question!

And the real answer, Save Jerseyans?

The children of illegal immigrants are potential near-term voters who — along with their friends and family who are already registered voters — will remember this “act of generosity” by President Obama and his Democrat Party. Consequently, the President is more than willing to ignore the Constitution to get it done.

Babies? They can’t vote, donate or hire a lobbyist from the womb. If they’re ultimately aborted, they sure as heck will never have the chance to cast a protest ballot.

For all of the ridiculousness viewers endured last week, I can’t think of a better singular example to demonstrate why the modern Democrat Party isn’t fit to lead a lemonade stand let alone the greatest nation of GOD’s green earth. Democrats aren’t just rationing health care now, folks. They’re rationing opportunity, too. The Republican National Convention called on Americans to revive the promise of a “land of hope and opportunity” for all. Democrats staged an obscene carnival designed to pray on fears, divisions and, in some cases, ignorance.

Sometimes you have to wonder how is this even a race…

  1. I agree with you wholeheartedly, Matt. It's amazing how the Democrat party has degraded into open supporters of lawlessness, naked greed, and practical anarchy. We can only hope that they stay home in droves on the first Tuesday in November.

  2. Way to troll the bottom of the barrel, Matt. You're another lying conservative corporate anti-woman puppet.

  3. Thanks, Brian. This country is in a bad way. Taxpaying, hardworking, God-fearing Americans are having their votes cancelled out by bought-and-sold sponges who are perpetually dependent on federal programs. We're running out of time to reverse the damage.

  4. I love Obamacare. My kids can be covered on my health plan until age 26 enabling them not to worry about healthcare costs while going to college. The insurance companies must use 80% of premium costs to healthcare instead of profit and promotion. The Medicare prescription drug-cost "donut-hole" is close lessening costs for seniors as well as no co-pays for preventative care. Insurance companies can not deny health coverage due to a preexisting condition or can't set a limit to cap your medical costs.

This sounds compassionate, something a Jewish rabbi said 2,000 years ago talking about caring for the poor and sick. Putting God in your parties' platform doesn't make one more pious.

  5. You shouldn't take for granted that your feet have not changed since the last time you bought shoes. Children tend to change shoe sizes frequently. Actually your feet may continue to change even when you are an adult. If you shop in an outlet that sells basketball shoes, they will be able to measure your feet precisely. When you try on your basketball shoes, remember that they should fit securely but not uncomfortably tight. The proper fit of a shoe does not allow any sort of room for slippage.

To find the best basketball shoes for your next pair, you need to remember the above suggestions. Your shoes should be so comfortable when you are playing, they feel like an extension of your body.
