Election Day 2012 is just four weeks from tomorrow, Save Jerseyans, and the race for the White House is closer than ever.
This is the time to bring in big name reinforcements to rally supporters and close the sale.
That’s why Governor Chris Christie will headline a rally for Mitt Romney tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. in Lordstown, Ohio which, interestingly enough, is home to a General Motors (GM) plant.
He’ll then participate in a “tele-townhall” with Romney around 5:30 p.m. before leading a second rally at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium at 7:30 p.m.; anyone familiar with Ohio statewide politics (including yours truly) knows that Republicans need to keep Democrat margins low in Cuyahoga County (which includes Cleveland) to win.
The first post-debate public polls out of Ohio suggest a dead heat.
Hi,
Great reporting. I'm a fan of both Governors Christie and Romney. How do you join in a "tele-townhall"? I'm a student at Ohio State and think that Governor Romney could harvest a lot of votes from my classmates if he just planted a few seeds. How about a real townhall meeting right on campus?
Thanks for keeping everyone informed,
David
