Christie Promises to Reschedule Halloween If Necessary

Governor Chris Christie may be leading a massive rescue/recovery effort as Hurricane Sandy barrels its way through New Jersey, but at the end of the day, he’s also a father of four kids.

Halloween is Wednesday, and he knows Garden State children are concerned about what effect this storm may have on their trick-or-treating.

He tweeted out some reassuring words this evening:

If conditions are not safe on Wednesday for Trick or Treating, I will sign an Executive Order rescheduling #Halloween.”

So fear not, little Jersey ghouls and goblins. The Guv isn’t going to let Mother Nature ruin your favorite holiday!
