President Obama’s fiscal cliff “compromise” is a non-starter, Save Jerseyans.
A cheap political trick; even assuming a set a facts most favorable to the POTUS, his plan raises only a slim percentage of the revenues over the next decade required to avert a total fiscal disaster. Coupled with a complete failure to address entitlement reform, the President’s approach merely pushes the fiscal cliff a little further down the road.
In short… it’s not a serious option for anyone serious about saving this county.
What I wish Republicans would do now?
Not just point out how the President’s plan is insufficient, but also explain why his tax hikes are likely to decrease federal revenue over the long haul if history is any guide.
