South Jersey readers may’ve seen this hair-raising video on 6-ABC last night, just the latest in a disturbing outbreak of subway violence in the Northeast:
Thankfully the woman survived her attacker’s assault with minimal injuries. It could’ve easily ended badly, Save Jerseyans. And instances like this one tend to make us wonder “what the hell is happening to our country?”
I don’t have all the answers. No one does. I do know that that which ails us is nothing that new gun control legislation can fix. Our problem is cultural and spiritual. “Decline” is another word for it. Will limiting weapon magazines and kicking in a few million more to research thoroughly-researched problems make any difference?
Watch the video again. The answer is obviously “no.”
