Sussex Freeholder Will Take Chiusano’s Place Representing LD24

Some news out of the mighty North [Jersey] on this otherwise gloomy Saturday afternoon, Save Jerseyans.
A special convention of GOP committee members from the 24th legislative district has convened and, according to a very credible/reliable Save Jersey source, selected Freeholder Director Parker Space (R-Sussex) to replace Gary Chuisano in the General Assembly. You may recall that Chiusano was recently appointed to fill the Sussex County Surrogate vacancy by Chris Christie.
The results were Parker (103 votes), followed by former U.S. Senate hopeful Bader Qarmout with 49 and formal federal candidate Mark Quick with 2.
Quick was excepted to challenge Space in the June Primary regardless of today’s outcome.
Congratulations to the new Assemblyman-designate!
