Freeholder Rich Dase (R-Galloway Township) is running for a third three-year term in 2013, Save Jerseyans, officially joining Sheriff and State Senate candidate Frank Balles on the Christie-led GOP slate.
“In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, our top priority must be to ensure our shore communities, like Brigantine, have the resources they need to rebuild and come back stronger than ever,” said Dase in a Palm Sunday press release confirming his intent to seek reelection:
I remain committed to working with our federal, state, and local officials, regardless of their political party, to ensure that new FEMA flood maps are practical and allow life-long residents to remain in their homes rather than make it prohibitively expensive. With so much of our local economy dependent upon tourism it is absolutely essential to restore these beachfront communities.”
Unlike my home county, Atlantic doesn’t elect all of its councilmen at-large. Dase’s 4th District includes the Jersey Shore towns of Galloway, Absecon, Port Republic, and Brigantine. Click here to read Freeholder Dase’s bio.
