After picking up Governor Christie’s formal endorsement on Tuesday, Save Jerseyans, Steve Lonegan will head to the Jersey Shore to receive the backing of the man whom the GOP Governor selected to temporarily fill Sen. Lautenberg’s seat.
U.S. Senator Jeff Chiesa (R-NJ) will hold a joint presser with Lonegan on Wednesday, August 21st at 10:00 AM outside of the Ocean County Courthouse.
The latest poll shows Lonegan lagging Cory Booker by 16-points. Ocean is a crucial and vote rich region for any statewide Republican candidate having supplied Governor Christie with most of his margin of victory in 2009.
