The Independence Hall Tea Party PAC has endorsed Dr. Alieta Eck for US Senate in Tuesday’s special election Republican primary, Save Jerseyans, declaring that she is a “true champion of the people.”
“Our PAC Board is very familiar with both Steve Lonegan and Alieta Eck,” said the Independence Hall Tea Party PAC President Don Adams. “While we respect Mr. Lonegan, we greatly appreciate the intelligence and temperament of Dr. Eck.”
Boasting thousands of members, the affiliated Independence Hall Tea Party Association is the tri-state region’s largest Tea Party organization.
The novice candidate Dr. Eck has nevertheless failed to catch fire this primary season and she appears extremely unlikely to mount a late surge. The latest poll shows her trailing Steve Lonegan by more than 60-points.
