Here They Come Again…

First Amendment rights are always subject to place/time restrictions, Save Jerseyans. Governor Christie’s public sector union opponents don’t dwell on the nuances, so if you had any doubts as to why the state police started snapping photographs, then here’s your answer:

arco protester tweet

Free speech? Or something else? It’s undoubtedly ignorant in every sense of the word. “The hecklers should consider the issues that plagued New Jersey for a decade before Governor Christie assumed office,” chimed in Asm. Jon Bramnick, a reliable Christie ally, via a morning press release, “including high property taxes and a government that would not address public employee health and pension costs.”

Fair enough, Assemblyman, but something tells me these protesters aren’t W-2 heroes paying a disproportionately high percentage of the collective tax burden. Just a hunch.

Gov. Christie’s Flemington town hall kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Magdalen de Pazzi Parish Center.
