By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

ElephantsThe 6-term incumbent Thad Cochran is up by approximately 6,000 votes over challenger Chris McDaniel out of over 360,000 cast with over 99% precincts reporting, Save Jerseyans. So says the AP. Whew! Wild.

What a tremendous missed opportunity; I lay it all at the feet of Haley Barbour and his establishment cronies who dragged this crustacean over the finish line with the help of Democrat votes…

  4. Maybe this small object lesson will help the GOP finally get it through its head that if it reaches out to the African American community more effectively it will win more elections.

  5. The moral of this story is that the K-Street Republicans can’t win in a Republican primary unless they get Democrats to vote for them?
