Winners and Losers, Budget Edition

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

Moving VanThe list doesn’t change much from year to year, does it? Because tax relief remains as elusive as ever…

So, in no particular order on the morning after…

1. Pennsylvania

2. New York

3. North Carolina

4. South Carolina

5. Delaware

6. Florida

7. Texas

8. Oregon

9. Arizona

10. Nevada

1. Everyone who can’t afford to leave New Jersey for one of the “winners” above.

2. Anyone with a public pension who isn’t retiring in the next 5-10 years.

3. The 0.0001% of our state population that doesn’t fit into #1 or #2; surrender and escape from a state with great pizza for a state with cheese wiz and ketchup on a cracker is no victory.
