Greats Falls of Paterson turn to ice

Paterson was our country’s first planned industrial city, and a thriving late-18th century community of mills and manufacturers proliferated around the Great Falls of the Passaic River. Eventually, this city would produce everything from silk to locomotives.

Today? The “Paterson Great Falls” is a National Historic Park… and chock-full of ice:
