I didn’t get to listen to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Tuesday congressional address live, Save Jerseyans, but wow, when I did, it’s not hard to understand how he’s remained one of the democratic world’s most enduring and resilient figures.

I only wish the support from Capitol Hill had truly been as unanimous as it looked on YouTube/TV. Yes, some Democrats stepped up big time. But MANY others did not, and if we’re being honest about it, their abstentions are indicative of a growing trend of Antisemitism within the ranks of the Democrat Party. We’ve seen it visibly on display in recent years, most notoriously at the 2012 Democrat National Convention:
PM Netanyahu’s Truman reference was particularly poignant; the U.S. President who first recognized the State of Israel likely wouldn’t recognize his own political party today.
If one checks what is going on at some American colleges, it is really getting worrisome on campuses, as far as how Jewish students are regarded and treated in some places. I don’t hear much from American academic leaders saying they are concerned about it. I really would never have thought that in 2015 it could be a concern on some US campuses.
