Menendez pledges to give Netanyahu “the respect he deserves”

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

While many in his party (and possibly 2 or more members of his own delegation) are prepared to slight Israel today, Save Jerseyans, we need to give credit where it’s due, and Bob Menendez, for all his many faults, has once again bucked his president and done the right thing on the foreign policy front.

This issue SHOULD be beyond partisanship.

A clip from yesterday’s AIPAC (beginning at the 1:19 mark):

  1. I’m not naive enough to think Menendez ‘ s stance on the Israeli Prime Minister’s address today, makes him any less than the far left politican that he’s always been. It’s more like “good cop/bad cop” (really “bad cop/bad cop”) so Menendez can distance himself from Obama without agitating his political donors. What a sad state of affairs it is when someone like Menendez who ought to be serving time in a Federal prison is representing the people of this state. Disgraceful.

  2. America starts wars for money and this asshole in front of Congress is no different.
How about our bullshit congress does its jobs and focus on giving the homeless a place to sleep, raises minimum wages, improves the s schools and roads ,gets money out of politics.
O wait that’s right they are corrupt pieces of shit who like war just like the asshole addressing them.
How back to isreal and please take our congress with you

  3. Just left him a message…no deal is better than a bad deal! We do not trust Obama to act in this countries interests. Period! And I, sir, am not lying!
