Here’s the basic gist of today’s David Wildstein guilty plea via The Record’s Shawn Boburg, a leading New Jersey-based Port Authority reporter:

Wildstein reportedly admitted to conspiring with former state Senator and Port Authority Deputy Executive Director Bill Baroni and former Christie Deputy Chief of Staff Bridget Kelly, the one who said “time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee,” to exact political retaliation against the mayor of Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Following the entry of his guilty plea, the Court set Wildstein’s bail at $100,000, forbade travel outside the United States (which is standard), and then released him from custody pending a sentencing hearing scheduled for August 6th at 10:30 a.m.

Who’s next?

We’ll find out more at 1 p.m. from AG Fishman, but based on its sources and perhaps corroborated by what Wildstein did today in open court, the NYT says Baroni and Kelly will be indicted shortly…
