Alonso gets the preemptive nod in LD38

fernando alonsoThe Bergen County Republican Organization is moving forward with Fernando Alonso, Save Jerseyans, voting unanimously (100-to-0) on Thursday evening to sub in the professor and activist to replace former candidate Anthony Cappola on the LD38 assembly ballot next month.

Alonso’s candidacy won’t be official, however, until (or if) the Superior Court permits him access to the ballot at next week’s big hearing

  1. I’ve known Fernando Alonso for a number of years during which time he has always shown himself to be forthcoming and honest! His entry into the LD-38 race for Assemblyman – especially under such extraordinary circumstances – demonstrates a tremendous loyalty to the NJ GOP; a loyalty deserving of their full measure of recognition and support.
