Jim Gannon has won the bare-knuckle brawl with opponent John Sierchio to replace retiring Sheriff Ed Rochford as Morris County Sheriff, Save Jerseyans.
The lively freeholder fight was carried by incumbent freeholders Douglas Cabana, Tom Mastrangelo and Kathy DeFillippo (so-called “Team Morris”) who looked to blow out challengers Louis Valori, Roman Hirniak and Peter King (Morris United) by 10-points on average.
Former Freeholder John Krickus appeared to fall short in his comeback bid by approximately 5-points with around 14% of the vote.
