League of Municipalities“Our organization is thrilled to have the support of such a wide and deep cross-section of business leaders, and I believe the support is recognition of our success in making New Jersey more business-friendly,” explained Guadagno, the honorary chair. “We have cut more than 3,000 pages of red tape from the State Register, created a one-stop-shop to help small businesses better access support and services, and have worked hard to serve as a partner for New Jersey’s business community. But our work is not done, and we are committed to working with our Business Advisory Council to develop the ideas that will continue to make New Jersey a better place to do business.”

“I am proud to serve on BBNJT’s Board of Directors because as someone with a business based in this state, I know firsthand that New Jersey hasn’t always made it easy over the years to succeed here,” added Jerry Langer, Chief Commercial Officer of Langer Transport Corporation and a member of BBNJT’s executive board announced back on April 13th.  “However, our state has made great strides in creating a more business-friendly environment.  With the support of these key business leaders, New Jersey is poised to continue to grow its position as an economic powerhouse in the region.”

The organization, believed to be modeled on present Maryland Governor Larry Hogan‘s ‘Change Maryland,’ is widely believed to be a first step towards Lt. Gov. Guadagno launching a campaign to succeed Chris Christie as New Jersey Governor. Its Executive Director is former Christie campaign manager Bill Stepien.
