There’s plenty of evidence that he strongly disagreed with many of the strategic decisions animating his wife’s ill-fated 2016 presidential campaign (like throw-a-phone-at-the-while-while-screaming disagreed), but if you don’t want to read too much into that, all you need to do is look back to the former president’s third State of the Union address.
